Concerns over traffic and speeding on many roads across the City have been raised with Labour’s City and District Councillors. Speeding along St. Pancras and New Park and Oving Roads are particular concerns, as is the location of the traffic signals at the Hornet. City and District Labour Councillor Kevin Hughes said, “These concerns, we believe, are only the tip of the iceberg. We want to hear the full views and concerns of residents to get a fuller picture of the situation.”

Labour Councillor Sarah Lishman added, “The continued saga with the A27 and its impact on traffic across the rest of the city needs to be looked at holistically if we are to make any changes to traffic flow, consider the removal of level crossings and any potential upgrades to the A27.”
